A look at how mushrooms grow in a circular shape in many places. This is in Tennessee. I don’t know of any other such rings in my area, but this is the second time for this one to appear this summer. It is growing from a deep fungus ring underground. It is magic, of course.

During the 16th century, the Xochipilli figure was carved. The Aztec statue depicts Xochipilli, the Prince of Flowers decorated with six psychoactive plants: mushrooms, tobacco, morning glory, sinicuichi, cacahuaxochitl, and one unidentified plant. The mushroom depicted on the statue has since been identified as the magic mushroom species Psilocybe aztecorum, which is known to be only from the region around the volcano Popocatepetl where the statue was discovered later on.
