Learn all about: Super Mario World Hack: Brutal Mario Bosses: Part 3
October 15, 2008
World 5 had some nostalgic bosses, especially the one at 5-6. But mainly some of these are harder than what you’ve already encountered. I messed up somewhat on some of the bosses. My reason is that I haven’t faced these bosses in a little while (been trying to beat the later bosses
). Again, any bosses I missed, or any help with a certain level, send me a PM.5-Fortress 1: Now we have another boss from the DKC series, this time on the original. Good old Boss Drum…he’s even harder here than in the original game! It’s a matter of surviving the battle, while taking out a few enemies he sends your way. The Spin Jump is the way to take care of the Koopas, and the Chucks are best taken out with the Cape Feather. Four Fire Flowers are provided just before the second phase begins, in case you lose the feathers. Boss Drum acts exactly like he does in DKC, only he’s angrier. The second phase of the battle has him going back and forth on the ground, speeding up as the battle continues. His last effort to beat you is a pair of Cheep-Cheeps. lol Kick them and the Boss Drum gives up (misses?).The other boss is a pair of spiky pumpkins. It’s not hard to avoid and damage them, just hit them on the “bottom”, but there’s a trick to winning. If you defeat only one of them, the remaining one splits apart and a fresh new pumpkin replaces the defeated one. So, you need to defeat both of them on one attempt. This is easy if the both of them charge at you from the “ceiling”. And I don’t know what the power-up I got was, maybe a Mushroom.5-6: It’s SMB Bowser at his hammer state! I think this is self-explanatory, but I included both ways to defeat him for the nostalgic. I got hit by his hammers at the other attempt, but that’s all right. This Bowser is actually pretty tough…5-Fortress 2: This is a weird boss. I don’t know where this one is from, but this is actually a pretty easy boss, it’s just that it’s been a while since I fought it. The eyes (kind of creepy…) shoot magic at you. About after four or five the center “eye” opens. Hit it on the head, and get to the edges of the screen. These are safe spots to be in when the boss does the “sweep” attack with his magic. Repeat this twice more and the center eye charges at you in desperation. Hit it once more to beat it.5-Castle: This is a Boo from Yoshi’s Island. There’s not much to this battle, just hit him with a Koopa shell while he is not covering his face. Just make sure your back is to him before the shell hits. Boo has a small variety of projectiles, but these are ones you’ve dealt with before…maybe save for the fire. Three hits with shells will do it. At about 5:21, I decide to add a humorous effect to the battle by spinning. Watch the Boo when this happens.
Finally, Larry is riding this dragon (again, game name please?). The attacks are actually pretty difficult to avoid. Your best bet for the first two hits is to dodge the first fireball attack before hitting Larry. The background changes with each successful hit, and fire rains down from above. Third hit, just go for Larry when he appears. Oh, and the dragon has a large fireball attack, just jump and float over it.
Within 15 to 30 minutes after oral intake of unprepared magic mushrooms, symptoms produced by the hallucinogenic compounds begin to occur. When prepared as tea or soup, the time interval is reduced to 5 to 10 minutes.
