In 1983, researchers of a study reported that out of 318 specific cases of magic mushroom intoxications that occurred in England between the years l978 to l981, 21 patients experienced a flashback incident of some form for up to four months after ingestion. However, it was also mentioned that some of these flashbacks were the result of drug synergy and polydrug abuse.
