Once upon a time, 3 young girls went to the woods and took some magic mushrooms…
On Oct 27, 1970 the Comprehensive Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Act was passed. Part II of this Act is the Controlled Substance Act which described a classification system for drugs. It places most of the known hallucinogens in Schedule I. Included in this classification are LSD, psilocybin, psilocin, mescaline, peyote, cannabis and MDA. However, the Act did not explicitly include whole magic mushrooms.
