Mushroom Video: Jain _ Sacred Geometry, Magic Squares and the Golden Mean
May 19, 2008
Teacher and author of 12 fascinating books, beautifully hand-written in calligraphy, and 8 unique dvds; Jain has always been drawn to the spiritual and mystical. His work with Vedic Mathematics, a 2,500 year old Indian system of Mental Arithmetic… empowers students to perform mental calculations, in many cases quicker than a calculator. This is an alternative approach to Mathematics encouraging students to perform mental calculations based on 16 Sutras. With practise it eliminates the dependence on the electronic calculator, instilling confidence and memory skills in the process. Often very poor maths students find they can excel with this visually-based system. Jain will help you discover Sacred Geometry; Math as Art, Math as Science and Math as History.
Most types of magic mushrooms are of the genera that contain psilocybin and psilocin. These mushrooms are not toxic and will not cause liver damage. However there are other similar mushrooms that will cause liver damage if eaten. They contain compounds called amatoxins. The specific mushrooms which contain these amatoxins are mostly from the genera Amanita, Galerina, Lepiota, and Conocybe. Amatoxin poisoning is responsible for most mushroom poisoning fatalities. Death is usually in 7 to 10 days due to liver failure.
Psilocybe cubensis is commonly gathered throughout the tropics and subtropics. In the United States, it is sometimes found growing uncultivated in the South, generally in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. This species of magic mushrooms can also be cultivated in Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guadalupe, Martinique, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil , Colombia, French Guiana, Peru, Cambodia, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand and Fiji.
