Introduces the novice shroom hunter to the basics of field identification!Shroomhunter 101 focuses on members of the genus Psilocybe (MAGIC MUSHROOMS), which can be found in urban and suburban environments!

In Mexico, psilocin and psilocybin are illegal under the Ley General de Salud of 1984, which also indicates Psilocybe mushrooms as being covered by the law, and specifically mentions Psilocybe mexicana and Psilocybe cubensi. However, these laws are rarely, if ever, enforced against local users of Psilocybe. The Mexican government has also officially taken the position that wild occurrences of Psilocybe do not constitute drug production.
