According to Dr. Karl L. R. Jansen, there is not any solid evidence that magic mushroom flashbacks can or do occur. However, in 1973 Dr. Hall reported that several magic mushroom users had been experiencing recurring flashbacks that were comparable to flashbacks which were associated with LSD consumption. Dr. Hall was the Principal Research Officer of the Narcotics Section of the Commonwealth Police Force in Canberra, Australia at the time.
